Resizing the playlist window

Hi all, I'm having trouble finding the winamp.ini file to edit the playlist window size in the new version of winamp. The last time I remember finding the file was at least last year; is it still included with new downloads?

Which skin are you using? Settings for classic skins are stored in the Winamp.ini file and settings for modern skins are stored in the studio.xnf file.

You don't need to edit the file(s) to change the playlist size...However, if you are still interested in editing the settings files...

Depending on the Winamp install, Winamp.ini and studio.xnf can be found in...

C:\Program Files\Winamp

-or-

%appdata%\Winamp Where %appdata% is a shortcut to the 'Application Data'/'User Settings' folder. You can click on the Start button > click the Run icon and put %appdata%\Winamp in the Open box and click OK. That should bring you to the Winamp settings folder in 'Application Data'/'User Settings'.

The actual path will vary with the current Windows version you are using. Example...

Windows 2000 Windows XP
C:\Documents and Settings\UserName\Application Data\Winamp

Windows Vista
c:\users\UserName\AppData\Roaming\Winamp

Thanks for the fast response, now I feel silly never having figured out that you can just drag the corner :)
