Error When Starting Winamp
 

My hard drive died and I am in the process of rebuilding that Win2000 SP4 system. I re-installed the latest Winamp (still need to re-register it) and each time Winamp starts, I get an error (see attached image).

This system had Win2000 SP4 on it before and Winamp and did not have this error each time Winamp started (although I was using the previous Winamp version... not the latest one).

Any ideas how to stop this error?

Didn't get this error when running Winamp 5.41 on this same system.

Is there a URL for downloading older versions of Winamp?

I had same issue and downgraded the version. I do not remember the url for download but you may google for a file name.

The problem occurred after a new install of Win2000 SP4 and a new install of Winamp. When I did all the Windows Updates... the problem disappeared.
