Winamp Crashes In Windows 7: RPC Server not avalaible

I'm running Windows 7 and using the latest version of Winamp Pro with a licensed key.

After a while Winamp stopped working. I cannot open it without the program freezing. I usually have to close it via task Manager. After I do, I get an error saying that the RPC Server is not available. I have tried reinstalling and that has not fixed the issue.

Any help would be appreciated.

Cannot reproduce. That being said, Windows 7 is currently not supported.

I am running Windows 7 RC 7100 and Wimamp pro runs without problems (except one that is always there). You may have some trouble with a driver compatibility, I had a problem at first with the driver for my HT Omega Claro card. Computer would freeze when starting Winamp or opening control panel for sound card. Changed the method of install for driver, now things are ok with sound card. Best to check at sevensforum.
