lamedropxpd / VBR 320 kbps

Hey all!

I'm having a bit of trouble with lamedropxpd. The highest the encoder wants to go is an average VBR of 256 kbps. If I set the bitrate manually it forces CBR... is there any way to get a VBR of 320 kbps with XPD or am I missing something?
