Winamp Podcast Directory not using proxy?

I want to subscribe to podcasts, and I am behind a proxy server. When I try to add a new podcast, I get the following error message:

"Invalid link (404 or timeout)"

When I use the Winamp browser to browse to the RSS feed, I get a valid RSS (xml).

Is the podcast directory using different proxy settings than the browser or do I have to do something special?

Thanks in advance!

Regardless of what browser you use, is Internet Explorer set up to use the proxy server?

Yes, if I navigate to the file using Internet Explorer, all seems to work fine (in other words, I can view the RSS feed).

And is it setup in Winamp's preferences? (I'm just trying to cover all the bases here, as I dunno how Winamp operates behind a proxy)

Yes, I have set up the proxy, but with or without proxy, it never seems to work.
