Boolean search?
Does winamp support boolean searches in the media library? If so what are the operators? If not, why not? Any plugins that will do this for me? It would make it a lot faster to whip out playlists if I could search for a collection of artists or filter some out when searching through my media library.

Yes: AND && & OR || | !
It is all documented in the "Advanced mode" smart view editor. |
I'm in the Media Library -> Local Media -> Audio section and when I try any use any of those in the search bar I don't get any results. If I searched for "Jazz" I will get several results and if I search for "Classical" I get several results, but searching "Jazz OR Classical" or "Jazz AND classical" is giving me 0 results. Am I in the wrong place?

Try this:
? genre="jazz" OR genre="xyz" |
Thanks Anthony51, that definitely works. Is there a support page that explains this somewhere, I tried doing a search but I couldn't find anything.

Right click on a smart view in the local media tree on the left-hand side of the library, select "Edit View" or "Add Smart View", switch to advanced mode.
