font colour in playlist
hi, is there a way can i change the colour of the text in the playlist.
dont like skins, theres always something wrong with them. plus im happy with the classic skin... just would like to change the green writing if possible, and maybe the green colour of the track time. cant see any option for it. i use 2.52 and will not change. tried a newer (classic) winamp and the EQ was off. plus i hate the new big browser of winamp 5. its missing the point i feel and is too complicated. the classic one is rock solid, light and perfect. any suggestions for the changing the colour though? cheers. |
Well, for starters, you are missing out and a heck of a load of bug fixes if you maintain using 2.52, blimey, how old was that one?
You do know that the 'big browser' of winamp5, is just another skin?, a modern single UI skin at that, and that the default Classic skin is still there as an option, or that you can use millions of other classic skins still? The green playlist is part of the default classic skin, you'd have to hack the main winamp.exe file to change that, however... You can however download a editable version of it here.... http://forums.winamp.com/showthread....hreadid=189504 Instructions on how to open included in that thread. You would need to edit the pledit.txt file within as this contains the colours of the playlist editor This link shows you how to edit the pledit.txt file. http://forums.winamp.com/showthread....34725#playtext I would however seriously urge you to upgrade your winamp, even if you just install the 'lite' edition, it is what it says, a lite version of winamp with all the modern skin stuff dumped out among other things, pick up latest versions here... http://forums.winamp.com/showthread....0&pagenumber=1 You could even get a full version of it and fine tune it to your liking, using tips here... http://nunzioweb.com/daz/like_the_wind/ |
Winamp 2.52 skins? Was there such a thing I don't remember.

The 2.5 era was a pretty nice build, that was I think when classic skins had both a media library and a minibrowser still existent
