5.56 Locks up
 

Hi!

5.56 locks up after playing a while. Doesn't happen at the same time every time and some times it can stream mp3s for a day before it stops. I have to shut it down using the Task Manager when this happens, then restart Winamp and continue on. Sometimes I restart then continue.

Running Windoze XP SP3, 2.4 ghz Celeron processor with 2 gigs of ram. Intel 82865G video processor.
The only things running are the usual Mikey$oft bs, Zone Alarm and Winamp 5.56 with Shoutcast Source plugin.

Playing mp3s only.

Any help you can give would be great.

Since there's not been a reply to the question as of yet, should I assume I didn't supply enough info? If so, what info would you like?

Have you tried disabling the plugin you mentioned? If you don't have a lockup after a period of time, that could be your culprit.

I searched for an answer first but didn't see anyone having a problem with Shoutcast Source. If it IS the problem then I'm out of the internet radio business. =(
Can't afford SAM and my only other option is buying a Mac. No $$$ for it either.

Does it lock up after a certain mp3? Do you have any other plug-ins enabled? Are there any unusual settings in your Shoutcast?

Nothing unusual in my settings and never on the same song twice. No other plug ins either. Been running since this time yesterday so fingers crossed.
