Winamp crash on exit after emusic install
 

After installing the emusic downloader on 2 computers, winamp will now pop-up with a crash about 3 seconds after you close it on both. I checked all the plugins and found nothing new but I know it changed something, when installing it said I had to close winamp to continue. I think its something to do with syncing my emusic downloads to winamp, even though I set it not to sync to anything. I reinstalled winamp but no change. Ive emailed emusic and not heard anything back.

Both have XP sp3 and Ive upgraded to 5.572 and thats made no difference either. Anyone else had this problem and what can I remove and keep both working.

The emusic downloader installs gen_activewa.dll (Active Winamp plugin) in the Winamp\Plugins folder.
Try removing that maybe...?

That was it. I looked in the plugins but i was looking by file date for something new. Now its gone I still can use the emusic downloader but not winamp does not crash. Their installer should ask if it can install a winamp plugin.
