Controlling winamp on my Logitech Keyboard...
Hi there. Got a question! Well more so a little bug with the way my keyboard is controlling my winamp.
I listen to long music mixes of some 60+min in length. Let's say I double click a song file, it plays. When I hit the preset play/pause button on the top of the keyboard it restarts the song from the beginning instead of pausing it. When I press the button for a second time it will pause. The track will then play and pause with the button. It seems to be the initial playing of the track. Instead of pausing, it restarts! But later the pause feature will work as I want it to. Are ya with me?? In a nutshell when a track is already playing, when I press the play/pause preset, it "plays" instead of pausing the track. My old MX Duo combo never had this issue. It knew when track was already playing, that it then need to be paused, not started. Can anyone help me??? Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!! |
1. Winamp > Ctrl+P (for Preferences)
2. General Preferences > Global Hotkeys 3. checkmark 'Enabled' Then you can assign which playback function goes to which key (including multimedia keys). Sometimes, the 'Enable default Multimedia key support' might override the assigned function from the list so if you still have troubles try unchecking that. |
