Winamp crash on Media Library opening

I use

Winamp 5.581 (latest)
CPro_MMD skin
Dynamic Library Plugin
Ultimate ML Plugin

I've been getting this error a lot lately once it crashes my Winamp.

It occurs when i try to open my Media Library.

Why is this happening?

Does anyone have any idea i can resolve thsi as it ruins my Winamp and i only fix it by doing the backups.....

Even though you'll have to rebuild your library, you could try Right Clicking Winamp in the System Tray or Taskbar at the bottom, going to:

Options > Preferences > Media Library > Local Media

and using the "Clear Media Library" button. It worked to stop mine crashing from grey screen and errors due to either a faulty plugin I had working with an older version of Winamp or because my playlist was getting too big.

thx for that it didn't work sadly.

i'm still at a loss why it happens..... not sure what that error means...

i've had to move back to winamp 5.572... no bug there like here. First time i've ever had to do that.

seems to be a lot of people with problems wrt the Media Library & 5.58....

found a solution:

update Ultimate Media Library...

see: http://mlplugin.try.hu/

that's done the trick... found the idea from their chat bit and it seems to have worked

maybe that is what is creating problems for others also wrt the Media Library....

p.s. like the update, but a lot more work has to be done on the Podcast section.
