Ive tried removing the "read-only" attribute from the Winamp folder in program files, but that hasn't help. Is there something else that I can try?

from looking through your plug-in list i'd guess you've also installed the Winamp Essentials pack though based on the size of in_wav.dll and gen_undo.dll i'd have to assume it's an older version of the pack you've got installed (older versions of in_wav could did cause some start-up failures which may be the cause of what you're seeing). this post -> http://forums.winamp.com/showpost.ph...31&postcount=2 has the link to the latest version + changelogs as applicable.

otherwise ml_umlp.dll isn't one i'm aware of so i'd try to rename that to ml_umlp.off and see what happens along with doing an Essentials Pack upgrade if you're using the features it offers.

Hi

i noticed taht you have "ml_umlp.dll (601 kb)" which is the Ultimate Media library plugin.

when i upgraded to 5.581 i was getting crashes all the time when i moved to the Media Library.

The solution was updating the above plugin (that was causing the problem). Update to version 1.2:

Hope that works, it sorted it for me.

Sorry for my late response, but I will try those suggestions and let you know. I don't even recognize those plug-in names, but its worth a try.
