Want Visualizer ONLY fullscren
Simple question.
What Happens: 1. I start visualizer via hotkey (straight to fullscreen mode) 2. I press esc key to end visualizer 3. Winamp defaults to visualizer window with the visualization running in windowed mode. What I want: 1. I start visualizer via hotkey (straight to fullscreen mode) 2. I press esc key to end visualizer 3. Winamp exits fullscreen visualization and just puts me back where I was (most likely Media Library and stuff). No visualizer still running. How do I do this? Extra info: Latest version of Winamp 5.58 Pro using Bento Skin and Milkdrop 2 as visualizer. |
For the Bento skins, the closest thing to that is to display the vis in the Multi Content panel. instead of the Big Component panel. Click on Options (menu bar) > Visualization > select one of the 'Open in Multi Content View' options.
Next time you press ESC to go back the vis will display in the Multi Content panel, instead of overriding the Media Library tab. |
Thanks for the suggestion. Uggh.....that is a little bit better.....since the window is now smaller and stuff. Still sucks though. Transition out of fullscreen mode is still so damn sluggish and it could be smoother if we could just exit fully.

Maybe Desktop mode instead of Fullscreen. It is like having MD as a wallpaper.
While MD is not active... 1. Winamp > Ctrl+P (for Preferences)When MD is started, just minimize and maximize Winamp instead of switching between Fullscreen mode and Winamp |
Ya, I have done that one before....not a bad workaround either. Thanks

You're welcome. :)

Holy shit....Updated Winamp.....issue seems to be fixed!
I start Viz....I close Viz....the Viz actually closes instead of just going into some other mode (windowed, desktop, etc). Awesome! |
