Totally screwed up after upgrade to pro
1st I read the sticky's at the top of this forum and none of them appeared to apply to my problems: First, I had the free version and upgraded due to the following issues: I had music I had downloaded in my purchased playlist, but when I put them in my portable playlist it would come up with a w plus 5 digit number and would not play. Note: These were downloads purchased off amazon and previously had no problems, but suddenly some songs that previously played in my portable playlist, now would not. So, I upgraded and now all I have is winamp equalizer and winamp playlist. And in the playlist some of the songs have the same issue as before a w plus numbers. I can not get it back to a regular screen. Any ideal on how to help these issues. I am ready to put my ipod down the garbage disposal. Any help greatly appreciated.

forgot something
Oh, when I say regular screen, I am talking about the full page screen with file, view, etc at the top and folders media library etc and the player in the right corner. I am about to just go back to itunes and deal with their monopoly ways.

For the "missing" Winamp windows, maybe this.

As for the issue with the purchased songs on your portable, I am not sure of what to tell you. I don't have portable media player and don't purchase music over the internet (call me old fashion). Anyone else? |
Thank you, problem was with the skin chosen.

Download won't play in Winamp
Hi. I download music from Amazon only at this point. Most of my music, I originally could listen to in winamp and suddenly I couldn't listen to it and in the right upper corner of the winamp screen it will have w and a number after (right now one of my songs list as w00106 instead of the artist). Does this song need converting? IF so, How? If not, any ideals as to what I can do so I can listen to my downloads besides windows media as I can't find how to transfer from windows media to my ipod without using winamp.Any help would be appreciated.
