Winamp defautlt values
 

Hello,

I've got difficulties to set up Winamp default values.

First, I don't know how to set up the focus when Winamp starts. I would like to focus on "Audio" and not on "Recent Menu".

It seems that I'm not very clear ...

The are no defaults.

The Media Library will remember the last view you were in when you restart Winamp. So, if you were looking at Audio before closing Winamp, Audio will be shown in the Media Library when Winamp is restarted. If you were looking at Video before closing Winamp, Video will be shown in the Media Library when Winamp is restarted.

For the second question. The location for a open dialog (open file) box, is the location last used in a previous open dialog box. So, if you open a file to be played and it was in the folder C:\Music\Rock, the next time you use another open dialog box it will go to the C:\Music\Rock folder.

OK for the first point. It seems that if it didn't work during the past (not the last menu when i quit and restart winamp), it was because winamp didn't close right.

For the second point, it doesn't work at all, it's always the same path that appears.

Question 2: The dialog box you are using will always reset. So try some of the other methods.

A very simple one - drag and drop your new folder into the Media Library.

OR: In Winamp Preferences \ Media Library section \ Local Media \ Watch Folders page:

You can choose here which folders are automatically scanned. Personally I just use that "Rescan Now" button instead of the timer.
