I forgot to tell u:
Winamp version 5.581 used on Administrator Account

try running Winamp without a language pack (ie revert to english us). if that works then i'll post what you need to do to resolve the loading issue otherwise i'm stumped as nothing else jumps out from the files.

Nothing, it's the same, i have posted the screen of what exactly happen to the player:

When i click on the icon to startup winamp:

after 1min when was ready:

P.s.
The problem it's the same, whatever skin I use.

DrO 13th September 2010 10:40

hmm, well that's stumped me as normally the long loading issues are down to some AV software not liking Winamp's language packs.

only other thing i can think off without removing Winamp and starting over again is to use one of the officially bundled skins (bento / winamp modern) and see if that has an effect or extract the skin file you're using Ebonite_2_1.wal into a folder in the skins directory and then see if that has any effect.

[edit]
just seen the ps so i'd be more tempted to think it's something with Avast causing the issue than Winamp itself as i've just tried out the Ebonite skin and it all worked fine (though i'm not using Avast)

It's the same without Avast...

Can be the driver audio? if yes I try to change with other.

DrO 13th September 2010 12:15

all i can think off is that something is preventing the modern skin engine from working correctly as there's no reason i can think off internally for the player to lock up for such a long time. you said you'd tried other skins, does that also include the classic style skins (ie Winamp Classic) ?

only other thing i can think off without messing with the existing configuration is to install Winamp into a different folder and see if that has any difference. if it doesn't then something else has to be interfering with the player that i couldn't see from the files you provided.

yes, I tried the classic skin too.

Now I'm trying to install winamp in another directory.

If doesn't work, I try with another X-Fi driver.

DvLAx3l 13th September 2010 16:18

Nothing, I tried all... Change directoty, driver, lang pack, clean install, clean win reg, disabled plug ing, all...

Btw 3-4 days ago it works fine... I don't undestand... Any other things to do?

DvLAx3l 13th September 2010 18:21

Can u tell me the directory of all winamp file?

I want to try to make a super clean install lol

DrO 13th September 2010 18:28

http://forums.winamp.com/showthread....d=161361#clean has everything needed for doing a full clean un-install. obviously you'll need to backup any data you feel is important from the library, etc as needed.

Ok, it works properly with the standard installation, but with the complete installation doens't work well...

So there is a issue with the components of the complete installation, what can I do to help u to find the problem?

DrO 13th September 2010 19:09

you'd have to remove all of the gen_*.dll and ml_*.dll from the plugins folder and then add them in one by one until you get the issue happening. that's all i can currently think off to try as there's nothing else i can think off / suggest doing now unless anyone else reading can suggest something.

best approach is to add back in the gen_*.dll first with gen_ml.dll last, then followed by the ml_*.dll (as they won't load without gen_ml.dll being present).

Now with the 5.59 Beta all works properly! ^^
