Global Hotkeys Setup Missing
1 Attachment(s)
Hello there,
i bought a new Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit and downloaded and installed a new Winamp free, version is 5.581. I wanted to setup a few multimedia keys for e.g. next track but when i entered the preferences, i did not found the menu entry to set up the hot keys. In screenshots from the winamp wiki and pictures of other user i know it should be there, but in my version its completly missing. I was searching for hours (ok, honestly about 10min). Can you tell me where it is or what i've to do to set the global hotkeys? It would be okay if i can do it by changing some settings file. At my previous OS, Windows XP i used some older version of winamp, and it was accessable without any problems. I tried also several plugins but they are not able to handle the multimedia keys. (don't tell me they don't work, they work, because i can set volume with them). Thank you for your assistance. Please see the attached screenshot that its not there, the "Global Hotkeys" entry. |
it's because you've not installed the hotkeys plug-in. re-install Winamp and make sure it is checked in the 'user interface extensions' section on the 'choose components' page in the installer.
