Volume rises to match Windows
Everytime I lower the volume on winamp but have windows volume higher winamp will slowly raise in volume to match windows but the volume bar doesn't change at all. Is there a way to make winamps volume seperate from windows? I want to play music in the background while I play games lower then the games volume. I'm on Windows 7 Ultimate with 5.581 version of winamp.

Make sure you are using DirectSound output instead of waveOut
Winamp > Ctrl+P > Plugins > Output > highlight/select > DirectSoundThe highlighted plug-in is the current/active one. |
