========
Method 1: using the DLL files
-------------------------------------
Note:
You must have Winamp 5.58 or above with the Extended Jump to File Support (JTFE) option installed.
This assumes Winamp is installed in the default c:\program files\winamp folder
If you have installed Winamp in another folder use that instead.
This method is not as flexible as Method 2, but allows you to associate groups of icons easily.

1. Close Winamp, if running
2. Check that c:\program files\winamp\icons folder exists, if not create it
3. Copy WinampIconLibraryxpAlto.dll & WinampIconLibraryxpAltoTagged.dll to \winamp\icons
4. Run Winamp
5. Press Ctrl-P to open Winamp Preferences
6. Choose General Preferences / Jump to File / Extras
7. Check "Enable 'File Types' preferences page additions
8. Select the icon library to use : iG Icon Library
9. Select General Preferences / File Types
10. Change the File Icon & Playlist Icon sliders to choose the iG icon filetypes as appropriate
11 Choose the Associate File Types you want to associate with Winamp
12 Click Close
These two files do not exist in the zip file you provide. Where are we supposed to get them from?

Step 3 in the instructions is incorrect, it come from another icon pack. The file to copy is WinampIconLibraryiG.dll.

If you are interested in the other icon pack you can find it here.

@gdwz
Your icon sets are great. My favorite is the MS-DOS set. Perfect for the folder containing a collection of old DOS games.

Sorry about the confusion, and thanks JonnyMac.

I've corrected the instructions in the download file and at the site.

Available as a plug-in

I've created an installer version of the icon pack.
