wifi loses connection to winamp when phone plugs into power

Hi,
Got the newest winamp, htc desire froyo unlocked.
If I plug the phone into power (only way to complete a sync-battery dies) it immediately disappears from the devices from within winamp. As soon as I stop charging it it connects to winamp again.

Any ideas?

+1 I too am having problems syncing. Device is recognized without issue, connects then stops (seems to get "stuck") somewhere between 5% and 17%.

I am using a Samsung Galaxy S Captivate.
