Fix for slow WiFi transfers to Android device
I found that on my HTC Desire - (Froyo 2.3) that as soon as I switch the screen off (or if it switches itself off) the transfer speed plummets (so, to keep high transfer speeds high, keep the screen on with an appropriate app.)
I guess this a well-known 'bug' but hey, I thought I would spread the knowledge anyway, Presumably there's some sensible power saving principle going on here - perhaps there'll be a fix down the line. R. |
I get this problem as well which is why i refuse to use wifi for transferrring, very frustrating.
Also, if I connect my phone via wife the whole media library loads up quickly with all that is one the phone. However if I do the same with my USB cable it takes either 3mins or I have to delete the winamp files and have to wait 50mins for the whole library to load up. Please can you sort out these problems. Much appreciated. |
