How insert messages into stream ?
 

Hi all,

I have a basic question ;)

I’m wondering how to insert « messages » in the stream at fixed times, at 10:00 AM or 3:15 PM etc ?
What’s the best way to resolve it ? Is it possible with DNAS 2 and sc_trans 2 ? Should I buy a specific software ? Should I use DJ port ?

it all depends on what sort of message you're trying to add (though spamming listeners with things is likely to annoy them).

you can try to use the updinfo option from http://dev.winamp.com/wiki/SHOUTcast...#Private_Pages (requires Build 17 or higher to work correctly on a multi-stream configuration) which will allow the current title to be changed to what is set which is the nearest to what you're looking to do i think.

other than that, there isn't a way i can think off to insert / change the title the listener sees.
