Desktop crashes when syncing
 

Recently, while trying to figure out how to correctly sync music files and playlists to my Android PC, I tried the Send To: option with a playlist.

The process started as it did before (reading Metadata) and after a few seconds the desktop program crashed, without a message for number. It happens every time I try the Send To: option now, and the only way I can transfer things to the Android device is using the SYNC command which transfers everything, which is unreliable for now.

Is there a good, detailed tutorial on the USB sync process for Android? Everything I've read is for wireless sync, and I gave up on that a week ago ( it gets stuck on the same song.)

My android is rooted, and a few irritating system apps have been removed. JIC. Maybe a missing file is messing things up.
