Southwest Airlines apologises to Muslim woman for being thrown off flight
 

Southwest Airlines has publicly apologised to a Muslim woman, who was thrown off a flight at San Diego International Airport, California, because she was wearing an Islamic headscarf and one of the crew thought her behaviour was 'suspicious'.

Now this is just the kind of thing that shouldn't happen. Southwest adds muslim to the reason they will kick you off the plane. They have proven they will kick you off for being too fat or if your kid is cranky.

^ You're right and that kind of profiling should really fucking end.

If you can't keep your kid quiet (which I presume is the issue here) you should not bring it with you on a plane.

Obviously discrimation based on religion is bogus. Maybe the US should pass some laws prohibiting it (I could not find reference to any that would apply in this situation).
