Winamp 5.61 (march 22) no shoutcast search
 

Today (March 28) searches seem to no longer work. I can stream a previous site BUT I can no longer get search to work. Put in a criteria (basic or Advanced) and nothing is returned.

there's changes going on with some of the SHOUTcast related servers which is probably what you're seeing.

What changes? I'm shoutcast partner and the search stopped working in my application as of today and I haven't been notified about any changes that would affect my application whatsoever. Where can I find out more info?

from what i can, it's just moving things to different servers, functionality shouldn't be diffrerent as per http://forums.winamp.com/showpost.ph...74&postcount=2

The SHOUTcast TV and SHOUTcast Radio Online Services are down due to a server/platform migration. We're working as fast as we can. We hope to bring them back working normally by tonight EST.

It's been a long time? almost a month that this 'server migration' has been going on. Has anyone forgotten to turn it back on for registering new channels, or can I use someone else's authorization key for their existing channel they don't use anymore? ;) I emailed last week with the requested information and no response.

the servers were migrated in a few days but registering for an authhash is still offline due to a number of other issues so for the moment no one is able to get an authhash for the v2 DNAS. when things are resolved then there will be a posting / replies to the emails i believe.

Thankyou so much Daz. :) We're all a lot more patient than those PS3 game players - their server went down for 2 days and they're screaming bloody murder already.

Is there any ETA on this yet?

When will profiles be working? Or perhaps we should all downgrade to shoutcast 1.9 so it doesn't matter?

if you need an authhash then see http://forums.winamp.com/showpost.ph...0&postcount=46 (i'd missed your prior post otherwise i'd have pointed you to that a lot sooner as i've been providing people authhashes as needed since the start of may).

as for an eta, 'soon' is the best i can give but it's not going to be profile pages that will be coming back as an in-dnas option is what i'm trying to finish off (which needs some additional platform + error handling tests but otherwise works).
