restart sc_trans with a cron job Linux
Hi all,
I 'll want to restart sc_trans each night (because I want to load a new playlist) with a crontab job Linux... Can I do that and how ? With PHP, or a sh... Is there an other method to load a new playlist without restart sc_trans ? Thanks all for your advice. P |

Ok thanks
Sorry, I'm a newbie in Linux :D I don't know how to get the <pid> with a cron job...sorry Can you give me an advice again ! Many thanks P |
you could probably make a grep on the running processes to be able to find that as the pid is stored in the log files but when the logs are (auto)-rotated then it'd be moved into a different file so wouldn't be of much use. there's probably a more elegant way of doing it but that's all which comes to mind at the moment.
