How is shoutcast DNAS v2 handling high amount of users? When the maxuser is reached, does it actively redirect to a different server in the group? Or is it just like v1, when maxuser is reached it denies further connections and winamp uses the next in the playlist?

like v1 if connecting directly. if connecting via the YP listing then if there's grouped servers they'll be provided as additional entries in the pls provided and so is up to the client to move to another one in the group depending on the client's settings.
