I downloaded the newest version of Winamp, and also downloaded the Nice MC Plugin 1.8. Once i install it, at the end of the installation it says:
"Unable to execute file: C:\Program Files\Winamp\Plugins\Winamp.exe CreatProcess Failed: code 2. The system cannot find the file specified." Please help me resolve this problem. Thank you very much. |
During installation of either Winamp or NiceMC, did you change the installation path from the default?
Was that error message during the installation of NiceMC? (The rest of this message assumes the answer is yes.) Does the plug-in work now? It might be that a line in the installation file was intended to make Winamp automatically start after installation, but was pointed to the wrong location; but would be irrelevant for using the plug-in subsequently. Try going to www.nicemcmedia.com and download and install the latest version (currently 1.82). (I often have a hard time connecting to the site. If you do, just keep trying every once in a while, and it should work eventually.) If you still get the same problem, try contacting the author of NiceMC about it. |
Now the page http://www.nicemcmedia.com/ can't open, so could you please share NiceMC 1.82 for everybody by upload to http://www.sendspace.com ? Thank you very much!

I would strongly suggest not to install that plug-in. NiceMC plug-in has adware/spyware in the installer.
http://forums.winamp.com/showthread....hreadid=241298 Winamp 5 has video support. Is there a specific vid format you want Winamp to play? BTW Please don’t revive old threads. This one is over 4 years old. The posting dates can be found under the member’s name next to the Profile button. |
