Winamp Pro downgraded after updates

I see that threads about similar issues have been posted.

In my case, I did successfully purchase the upgrade to Winamp Pro. However, after the last two updates, I lost Pro and the app reverted the free version. If I touch "Equalizer" I get the upgrade to Pro offer. If I touch the upgrade button, I am told I have already purchased the item or my purchase is pending. But the app won't unlock the Pro features. The only way (I've found) to get back the Pro version is to uninstall and reinstall (then the app upgrades itself when I touch Equalizer). But twice Winamp for Android has gone back to the free version after upgrades.

All the reported problems seem to have in common some issue with the upgrade feature recognizing Pro has been purchased but not upgrading the app. This started occurring for me about two or three upgrades ago. Prior to that, Android Market did routine upgrades with no problem.

Update: I got an WinAmp update from Android Marketplace last night and reverted from Pro to the free version. After I made my earlier post, I uninstalled Winamp and reinstalled and then got Pro back. About an hour later I opened Winamp (no update this time) and Pro was gone again - and Winamp still tells me, yes I bought the upgrade and no it won't activate it.

I pay you people money for the paid version and mostly what I get is annoyed. Thanks a lot.

Hi

We are aware of the problem and hope to address it in a future release (the sooner the better).
Please accept our deepest apologies.

In most cases, it does recognize you've already got Pro after "clicking" EQ > Go Pro.
And as you said, in other cases, it takes an uninstall>reinstall.
But yeah, we will get it fixed asap.

@DJEgg: Good to know. Thanks.

I had a similar issue. I cleared my cache with another app I downloaded and lost pro features. I clicked "Go Pro" and waited a couple minutes. It didn't change so I manually killed the Winamp process and re-opened it. Pro features now show up! I hope this helps!
