winamp pro for android and google wallet - problem

Hello, not sure where this needs to go but maybe someone can direct me as Winamp's page is very, very vague about how to directly contact Nullsoft (Winamp) for customer service issues.

I searched help, and google wallet indicates you have 15 minutes to request a refund on an app purchase. Cool, I got that. gw says that if the play store is not letting you download an app you have previously purchased, you 'may have purchased it under another account'. Makes sense, buying something under the wrong account and not being able to find it while logged into a different account. Google wallet also says if you have further issues with an app, contact the developer (which basically loops right back here, the winamp's forums)

I purchased the app under my gmail account. I logged into said gmail account and also logged into google wallet under the same account. I am able to view all (3) purchases I have ever made, including:

Nullsoft, Inc. - Winamp Pro Bundle View Order $4.99

Keep in mind, all this is done under 1 gmail account that i am using for gmail and google play, since it's all tied in anyway.

If google wallet is displaying that it knows I purchased winamp, why (while under the same account) is it directing me to pay for the app again? I think this is more of an issue with Google Play, but google play help directs me to contact the developer. I don't know what to do. Bottom line is I purchased the app, spent the money, can't redownload it and am slightly annoyed that resolving such a (what seems to be) simple issue is taking so long.

ANY help would be great! Thanks!

Hi

Winamp Pro Bundle = in-app upgrade, not the separate Pro market stub.

Simply reinstall the free version
https://market.android.com/details?i...ullsoft.winamp

As long as you are logged into the same google account with which you originally made the purchase,
then it should automatically recognize that you’ve already purchased Winamp for Android Pro.

Note that you can also contact us by using the feedback feature from within the app or via the contact developer feature from within Google Checkout.

Just to sum up...

There are two methods of upgrading to Winamp For Android Pro:

1) Winamp Pro Bundle = in-app upgrade from free to Pro (doesn't show as a purchased app on Google Play)
https://market.android.com/details?i...ullsoft.winamp

2) Winamp Pro Stub = separate item on Android Market only (does show as a purchased app on Google Play)
https://market.android.com/details?i...llsoft.prostub

However, both will show as purchases in Google Wallet.

All the Pro stub does is download and install the free version but with the Pro features already unlocked.
Method 2 requires both the stub and free apps to be always installed.
Method 1 just requires the free version to be installed.

I hope that explains things clearly enough....

Uninstalled application, rebooted device. Reinstalled app, rebooted and now showing that it's the Pro version. Dunno why it didn't work before, thanks though!

Thanks for posting this. When I updated my android OS, it showed winamp as being the free version with the option to purchase it, but then it went to the store showing that I already purchased it. Uninstalling and reinstalling the free version worked. Shows as pro again. Only thing is that now all my equalizer saves are gone. d'oh!! I spent hours getting those right to sound good in my car... :(
