Android version does not recognise .PLS or .M3U files containing shoutcast streams
 

Topic says it all, incredibly frustrating.

None of those files are correctly parsed by Winamp for Android, so I can not import a huge list of stations from my PC into my phone. I've copied them into the /playlist/ folder - I can see the files but the Shoutcast tracks are not available as an option.

Furthermore,......
The data format which Winamp for Android uses to keep it's "favourite" stations is, I believe an SQLite file inside Android, it's not a nice simple text file, so I can't obtain root access and just modify a file to get it working.

Long story short, I do NOT want to have to manually copy and paste hundreds of URLS
from my email inbox or something into Winamp and then manually favourite them.
Any thoughts from developers?
