Not listed in TTSL report
I'm using DNAS 1.9.8, I just looked at the Jan 2, 2013 report and my station is not listed. However there are over 300 stations listed with fewer TTSL than my station. I've checked that my station is showing up in the directory.
Is there something I need to do, to make sure by station gets listed in the (TTSL Report) ? thank you, |
there is nothing you can do to force your way into the TTSL report. if it's not showing your listing in there then it means that from the information the DNAS provides to the YP servers when it does it's 'touch' updates did not equate to what was calculated in relation to other listings.
the TTSL report is never going to be 100% accurate since most of the time the v1 DNAS is counting connections which aren't actual listeners (like the metadata puller requests when people use the shoutcast.com player) and it's only as good as the information stored between those touches - so if you're not querying the DNAS at basically the same time then it won't match. all i know is that i've made sure that the YP will log what comes from the DNAS during the 'touch' but i cannot even say if what the v1 DNAS reports is reliable or not (as i have to assume you're using a v1 DNAS as i don't know/remember your station specifics). -daz |
How often is the TTSL report generated? It looks like at the beginning of each month.
