Sorry guys, but the only reason I post my stuff in the wrong forums is because it has a better chance of getting seen by the right people in a forum like General Discussions.
Then agin, where would you put a question about Windows 2000 in the winamp forums?
I know there are BBs for this on other sites but they're not the same.

I would post more in a TS area if there was only one, the posts would be seen more.
There are good things about having them segregated, like not having a new post move too the second page in a couple of hours, but I would like to see less of them on the V-board

There should be 2 TS forums:

Tech Support: Winamp Related
Tech Support: Non-Winamp Related

The WA related TS forums should come 1st with a page saying to read all FAQs and the TSGH, then allowing people to proceed to the TS forum after this page. That should remove a lot of the dummass posts. The TSGH & WA TS forum should be placed at the top - not like the current system, where the TS forums are under Gen.

My CD-RW drive. It sucks. only 4x4x24, and it doesn't even copy 700 meg CDs at 4x very well w/ certain programs... Bitch. What's more, I can't read a CD without rebooting the comp after inserting the fucking thing... I want a TDK VeloCD 12x10x32 GOD DAMMIT!

Why, so you can pay $30 more for a repackaged drive that is otherwise identical to the Plextor W1210A? Plus, the Plextor one can rip at 32x now :P

Hey don't get me wrong, I'm not one of those disenchanted youth who go around with their heads hung low, and bitch at everything and everyone they see. After all, I'm a hedonist. Sure, I may hate a lot of things, but I love many, many, many more things. But I'm sorry, and can't make myself lie and say I love anything about Canada. From what I've experienced, it's the most intellectually stifling place in the world. Obviously, there are worst places, but I have personnaly not been to them, soi it wouldn't be fair for me to comment on them. I HAVE been to other countries where I am free to be, speak, and do as I please, and THAT is why I have such a distaste for Canada. Canada is supposed to be a civilized, industrialized nation, but it's just the same old, on and on. I am FOR big business. That's why I hate monopoloies. They stifle free thought, and totally destroy the concepts of the marketplace economy. Canda's system of monopolization, stemming directly from their socialist beliefs.

On top of all this, I've wasted 10 years of my life here, and they still don't want me as a citizen. Why? Because my father is a doctor, and apparently, the government can make more use of him (by paying him less) if he is a lowly resident living here with a worker's visa. Sure, I just became a landed immmigrant, and am in the process of becoming a citizen, but when that final paper comes before me, asking me whether I swear allegiance to Queen and country, you can bet that I won't be signing it.

damn ethernet drivers - when you copy them onto cd and it gets scratched - locks your internet connection till next sys recov - hp6506 is crap - the ethernet wass added later on. im back with 192mb ram 24gb hard disk no changes to the processor - my dad got a good deal for me.

programs that try to steal the entire 192mb in one go (aka netsonic my cache - it's supposed to be small but comes with crap like gator and flyswat!) neoplanet - comes with damn anotate.net - useless - i prefer google search.

video capture that doesnt allow for compression - requires the brooktree driver and damn pcm 22050 audio and it is a large size. then the reencoders are crap because it is already 5 fps and the mpeg4v1 is either too large or mpeg4v2 too blocky and crap looking. :eek: :p
