anyways...i really dont liek the new layout...its nifty looking but too many buttons...buttons galore..the only thing i like is like on the "skin lovin x-mas" post...you can go directly to the 2nd page...

I like that being able to go directly to the 2nd page stuff too. Geez....the new forums have more buttons then Winamp itself. Lot's of new goodies and stuff to sort thru :D

This is surreal. I too am having great difficulty discerning text from image buttons as you all have mentioned above. I kinda miss the alternating background colors. Ah well ... must live in the present and not the past I suppose. I do like the Preview Reply and the Topic Review (Newest First) features.

What's up with this Major Dude thing... How many post before I become one, 500?

Some thoughts

• We need more contrasting background colors, to see which reply is which.
  It's kinda cluttered, but I'll get used to it! :)
  We need less buttons.
  The "go directly to 2nd page" feaature is sooo nifty!
  2D smilies were much cuter.
  More then 5 smilies at a time. Work with me people! :D
  Larger variety in smilies...I want new ones!
  I love the editing within 3 hours/15 min thingie!

btw, I thought I read, somewhere, a while ago, that the new website/boards could be customized , in order to make everyone happy. But I haven't seen this around yet. Any? One?

Yeah, too many buttons. Tried to work with it a while, to get over that "new thing" phobia, but it's still too many buttons. Eye candy for eye candy sake, not because it needs to be there. That's what kills my modem's bandwidth these days... Atleast seperate the button bars from the text with stronger background contrast.

Not liking the 3D smilies (see eye candy comment above), and if you hit an old thread, all the smilies are gone from there! Historians will misconstrue all my witty commentaries because the friendly wink is gone. :eek:

Do like the new editing features.
