Permanently pin to notification bar?
 

Is there a way to permanently pin the widget to the notification bar, even if I pause play and leave it alone for a long time?

I'd like to be able to start a song by swiping down from the top (revealing the notification screen) and touching the play icon at all times, including from the lock screen.

I could do this with Widgetsoid to control the stock Google Music Play app.

I'm on stock Android 4.3 if that matters.
