I've downloaded Winamp and all plugins. However, I do not know what the settings should be for server (think it's my ip, but I'm new at this!) and for port. In using my IP address and the default port of 8000, I am getting an error message that says "error connecting to host" when trying to use Shoutcast Source.

I'm also not certain if the items under server details need to be changed from default.

Please help me! Your feedback would be much appreciated as I am a former disc jockey trying to bring some classic rock of my own choosing onto internet radio.

Download the shoutcast DNAS GUI and load it then open Winamp and load the DJ program and set the host to localhost and the port to whatever port you want that is free and not being used by your computer. Make sure you configure the sc_serv.ini with the ammount of listeners and a password which you need to input into the DJ plug-in. If you can't get it to work email me with the one provided by the forum and I will help since I am host a station myself.

I don't mean to be rude in any way, but this question has been answered time and time again. Please search through the forum i believe there is a 15 step walk through you can follow.
Don't worry i went through the same thing and so have most of the people you see in here.

If anybody has the link please post it for this individual.
