Hey,
I use winamp for shoutcasting. I currently have 561 songs on my playlist. IN winamp, I click "shuffle" and "repeat". How can I set it up so that a person doesn't have to go through all the songs before hearing the same one twice? In other words, how can I play the same song twice within my playlist at random(like an actual station)? |
Try out SAM. http://www.spacialaudio.com/
SAM has lot's of advanced features to make your station sound professional without a lot of work. ESP85 |
I always seem to have a problem with SAM when I try it. My computer and it don't get along. So there is no way to repeat songs automatically in the winamp playlist? Even when your not shoutcasting, just listening yourself?

SAM is the only way that you can be sure that songs won't repeat. Other than that, I don't know of any other programs.

SAM keeps changing, they keep improvingh it. The latest version is v1.1. You may want to keep trying the newer versions of SAM. You never know, the problem you have been having with SAM may be fixed now, or will be. Keep an eye on www.audiorealm.com.

You had mentioned something about not repeating songs..I want songs to repeat. I don't want to have to play 500+ songs just for one song to play for a second time. Anyway, I'll try the new version of SAM later on...

Why not just add the file more than once to your playlist? Winamp doesn't care if a title is listed twice or twenty times, it'll play 'em.

Hey,
Thanks, I never thought of that, i'll try it. I'm also wondering, I tried downloading the crossfader thing for SAM, but it doesn't work. |
