This skin never gave me a chance. It started as a quick, flat bitmap representing a Winamp skin, a visual gag that had popped into my head. I never intended to build a real skin out of it. It was a joke, darn it! Really.
But every time I sat down to some skinning, this skin pushed it's way forward, crying "do me, do me!" I finally gave up and decided the only way to get past the thing was to actually create it. The final step in any process is closure, and guess who to gets to help me with that. That's right, submitted to this forum is a porcelain skin of cool beauty. Download it, play with it, review it; help me exorcise the thing from my brain. Please. :) http://www.seanet.com/~jefield/downl...thTilegrab.jpg Note that the grey border is just to offset the screen cap from the forum's white background. Download And happy New Year, all. |
oh man alive, one word for it "beautiful"
Actually i have a few more, i rember this first time around, wondered whatever happend to it,this is so smooth its unreal, i love it !!!!!!!, i don't usualy gush over a skin, but this is fantastic :) I'm jealous here, mainly as i started a similar skin, ceramic tiles, a while back, but scraped it as I couldn't get it to go anywhere, so all credit to you for finaly finishing it. Final thought, those EQ bars rock, great effect. Back to the day job :) |
another word that comes to mind : brilliant!

"this skin pushed it's way forward, crying "do me, do me!"
that could be taken SO out of context ;) I LOVE this skin... its so original... i love washing away the nasty soap scum/condensation off the EQ :) |
Cappy...I love it! The rubber duckies are so cute! How original! The condensation on the mirror, the broken tiles, the nightlites, even the toothbrush cursor...it's all great! :)
