Support for multiple entries in tags
1 Attachment(s)
One thing that comes with listening to Electronic music as a primary genre (like me) Is the producers colab with each other, There are muliable genres/genre crossovers. (Refer to example.png)
What I would like is for Winamp to see that a '/' or ';' between 2 artists names which will mean another artist. So basic tagging two artists. Now you are thinking what is the advantage in that? Just use a comma! surely you can read that and still consider that 2 artists have worked on this song! Well this is the next part. You know Smart Views (of course) Well take a look at example.png which is attached! I want that song to be under Kaskade's Entry in the Smart View, But I also want it under deadmau5's entry. That is all for now, Post questions and I will try and explain. |
what I do is decide where to sort the track[s] and set the albumartist tag for that. I then list the exact artist[s] on the artist tag.
I agree it would be nice to be able to set multiple values, like say mp3tag does, but I have adapted to winamps way and I find its probably best for me, not to mention it keeps things simple, esp where stats are concerned. |
