Long response time before playing stream
 

Hello. I have SHOUTcast Server v2.4.2.167/win64 with ShoutCast Sourse DSP plugin. If I try to go to http://localhost:8000/64 , then stream is opened immidiatly. If I try to open stream from internet, then stream is opened for a long time (40-60 seconds). How to fix it?

increase your upstream bandwidth

without a working DNAS link to test against, it could just be the ISP / connection to the DNAS from where you were testing. otherwise it could be anything form the bitrate to how the listener software handles things.

as testing on the localhost address will generally be instant so is often not a fair test of the connection speed of the DNAS, hence the above suggestion as well as details of the bitrate and also what listener client was tried to connect (as it's own buffer may affect things).
