Shoutcast stats and configs not loaded after stop and start stream

Hi,

Recently we discovered that after a client stops and starts a shoutcast V2 streaming account, the listener peak is not reset, but most importantly the configs seem not to be reloaded, resulting there is no possibility to add new dj accounts anymore.

I think this happend after update to the latest version, but not sure.

This is not a single account issue, i hear there are more hosters having this problem.

Is this something new or is it a bug somehow?

Can't reproduce it. If i restart my running linux based DNAS deamon with the current version then starts all from scratch and works without a issue. All stats are reseted and the config is loaded correctly.

the peak number will persist across sessions as of the last few 2.4x DNAS releases as that's what we kept being told people wanted to have happen. so as long as the stream is public and using a current DNAS release then the peak will be maintained where possible between sessions.

there are no DJ accounts on the DNAS side - that sounds more like something via the defunct sc_trans or some other autodj solution. I assume this is a setup running under a Centova setup?

in either case, more specific information is needed to work out what's going on as so far, the DNAS aspect sounds correct, the config aspect is not looking like it's the DNAS (which is the only part that we can really offer any sort of assistance with if there is an issue).
