Bad sound from ios mobile devices and tunein mobile app.

Already 3 weeks cant solve this issue.

Asked help many times from my VDS provider, TuneIn supports and there no any solutions from their side.

So many people can't listen my radio (http://synthway.com/) from IOS mobile devices. Sound very bad, its like a cassette being rewind. But from other mobile devices on android, windows 8 - everything is fine!

And noone cant listen radio from tunein mobile app.

I used 2.5 years on hosting and there were no problems with mobile devices and tunein app.
And only when i changed service and started broadcasting it myself with VDS - i got these problems.

Can any1 help me? May be i need a transcoder? If yes, where can i download it?

do you really need to have the stream auto-start on opening any page on the site, gah that's a horrible thing to force on people.


if other players, etc work fine then it's most likely an issue with those that are trying to play it. maybe they're indicating to the DNAS something which is not the case such as the DNAS is being made to provide in-stream metadata when it should not be.

that's the only obvious thing I can think off which might lead to audio issues with a stream and trying to make sense of your description of the audio issue.

by the way, line 173 of your main page at least, has a syntax error - missing ) after argument list

this is because a total newb coded the page, as demonstrated by

a) the use of document.write - welcome to the 1990's
b) the attempted use of nested single quote character

I must say, it's odd to see the use of document.write on the one hand, and html5 audio tag - it's schizophrenic almost

thanks for answer. I think it's because my VDS in Russia. Just tried to test free shoutcast streaming service and sound is nice on my ipad.

I bought this template and line 173 is showing current song in the stick player (plugin which isn't included in the template), so if there is a syntax mistake - no need to be surprised, i messed about with these codes myself.
