My package is "suspected"
1 Attachment(s)
Hello,
I've done a really small NSIS package but it is blocked by : Windows SmartScreen Avast (without alert !) GoogleDrive... Is there a way to make my package safe ? (my NSI file is attached) |
Report the false positive to the developer of the so-called "antivirus" software and hope that they'll fix it. That's as much as you can do.
Antivirus software tends to be overly paranoid, when it comes to (not only) NSIS installers  Also, it seems that, these days, Antivirus programs have a tendency to rely more and more on so-called "community" features - which effectively means that a software is considered "suspicious", just because it's not used by (at least) a million people yet... |
The Windows SmartScreen alert will go away after enough people download it. If your software is not that popular then the warning will never go away and there is nothing you can do about it... other than putting your installer inside a zip file.

I've done this, the exe is now in a zip (with little password), it can now be easely transferred.
Since I have only 20 users, my package will never be easy to install...:hang: Thank you for your answers. |
