Okay.
I run my webserver. It is http://www.technohive.com and I can stream normally just fine @ http://music.technohive.com:8000. However, if I try to setup on demand all I get is a webpage saying Invalid Resource. My link in the webpage is - http://64.1.113.24:8000/content/kosheen.pls (I used the ip just to be sure) and kosheen.mp3 resides in the content directory. So I guess my question is, what is the deal? Any thoughts? I appreciate it, Chris |
Cmon.. I know someone wants to help tackle this problem. Its either something totally easy I missed or something is just plain broke... I would really like to get this working.

It most likely has to do with how you start up the DNAS (basically you need to start it from the directory that the content folder is in (true for 1.7.1 not sure about 1.8.0)) Tom |
I think I can help...
I got this to work by loading winamnp, load the playlist, start a server, select the bottom button on the right of winamp "list/opts" selct save file as a .pls extension say music.pls, than save this file to your web server and call it from a link off your page like http://www.yopurpage.com/music.pls. th music .pls file must exhist in the root dircroy of the web page of coarse in this scenario for it to work.
I could not get it to work from the content directory .... |
uploaded as binary?
Are you sure you uploaded the MP3 to your content directory as a binary file?

I used to do on demand streaming on the old versions of Shoutcast (1.6.0), as they upgraded the server, the on demand content broke. (Or at least it doesn't work the same way it's advertised.)
