No shoutcast plugin
 

I have the latest version of winamp installed on my PC & have also downloaded & installed the shoutcast plugin. But whenever I go into my settings to configure the plugin & be able to broadcast it doen't appear anywhere. can anyone tell me why this might be the case? any help would be appreciated
I have done this already and this is where I see no plugin
"Ctrl + P to bring up preferences, then go to DSP/Effect Plugins - click on the SHOUTcast plugin" but nothing is there???

That is odd. Please post a Winamp Info Tool report in your next post. Something that you might be unaware of might be interfering with the SHOUTcast DSP.

Also note, that you have posted in the Winamp Technical Support forum but anything dealing with SHOUTcast stuff should be posted to the SHOUTcast sub-forums. When installing it said the file folder destination might be ...cant remember the wording ... something that would prevent proper working.. but asked me to use another folder and I did so the error went away The folder being questioned was Program Files I created another folder and didnt get the error message
