Winamp 5.666 and Win 10 - no sound
 

Hi Folks -

I am very new to this. I have installed, uninstalled and reinstalled Winamp 3 times now - I have no sound coming from it. Originally there was sound - and then it just quit. I know I am probably asking a very stupid question - but how do I get the sound back on?

I have no problems with sound, but you might try the following.

Right click the title bar and select options, then preferences.

Click on Plug-ins>Output.

Make sure the DirectSound or WaveOut item is selected.
Either should work, but DirectSound tends to be a lower volume even though there's more options available for Winamp to use for it.

Yes - Thanks - after more fiddling I got it to work. It was not playing to my speakers - not sure how that got reset - but it's fixed now and I have a working stream! YAY!!:)
