Winamp jumping randomly to different tracks
Hey all
Running Winamp 5.666 on Win 10 pro x64. I have the odd issue that Winamp will sometimes go to a completely different track than the next one in the order, most commonly back to track 1 for the select album or playlist, but also other tracks. There's no real logic in it as far as I am concerned. Tried deleting and adding the media library again from scratch, but issue persists. Note: it was not always a problem, it began slowly. Anyone who has a similar issue? Is there anything I'm overlooking? With respect. |
Similar, but slightly different....
My issue is with Queuing tracks.... sometimes I'll click Q on a track and no number will show up.... when I check the Queue Manager, it shows a completely different track. Then, when it advances, it plays the different track and not the one I queued.
I've noticed this is more likely to occur the more randomized the playlist is. I re-randomize often and play with 'shuffle' on. I've not had the same issue as you, going back to 1.... unless the loop or shuffle button is on. Have you tried a re-install to see if that clears it up? http://listen.shoutcast.com/wow-machine-radio |
Hey
Thanks for your input. I didn't try reinstalling it completely, just removed and re-added the media library. I'm gonna try your suggestion and see if it then works. Respect. |
