what do u think of this so far?? anything i should change or keep the same as far as an end user would be involved?

Kinda dark... but, then again, my dad's computer is always dark. I'll take a better look once I get home.

just cool, and make sure to give us a ling once u done, and don't u dare change that darkness :D , i like darker skins more than shiney onces, and you skin just of my taste, good job

I'm home, and I'd say it's darn good!

Make the Posbar, volume bar, and balance bar more messy. also make the text more messy.

I would highly suggest turning off the highlights on the beveling in the countdown numbers - they are very hard to differentiate from the dark grey. Notice how clearly you can see the black in the vis display.....

Very cool...
 

It may just be my work monitor, so I'll take another look when I get home, but it looks like there could be a little more contrast between the background and the functional elements (buttons, sliders...). It looks like you've done some nice work, but it's hard to discern. Look forward to it's completion; I'll add it to my skin arsenal. :D

flatmatt thanx for the suggestions with the text but the effect im after is that the bits on the dark grey look clean and the parts that are on the dark brown to look messy, but as for the volume, balance and posbar im working on making the sliders on them not so square thanx for pointing that one out

I've just got one query tho, do u think that i should make the bolt on the EQ the right way around or the bolt on the main the wrong way around

btw, what do you mean by the balance easter eggs?

Take a look at the balance bitmap on tangerine scream , they show which are the easter egg ones and which aint :)

Go with the bolt in the Main Window. The EQ one looks like a "Z". Unless you want it to be a Z...
