I'm getting the message: Error connecting to host
I assume didn't configure my Linksys DSL Router correctly. I've tried disabling DHCP with static routing set to 192.168.1.2 with forwarding to port range 8000-8001, but no luck. Any suggestions? (I used to do this a long time ago with no problems [Shoutcast v1.0] but I didn't have DSL or a router then.) THANKS! Winamp 2.72 Shoutcast 1.8.0 Windows 98 SE2 Linksys DSL Router BEFSR41 Intel p-III 450, 128MB, Netgear FX310, Alcatel ADSL1000. Static IP Address with PacBell My Shoutcast Server Location is my static IP address, and the port is 8000. (I tried localhost, that didn't work either.) |
Don't think it's the router
I am using 5 computers and a Linksys DSL/Router with Winamp. I have the DHCP activated, and am able to connect to winamp and shoutcast servers without problem.
