You guys ever worked on anything and then abandonded it?, tried an idea but never used it?, created a groovy button or slider but never created a skin around it?

Care to share some of those lost ideas, maybe post a screen cap or download link to some of these forgotten clips?

Before anyone ask's it's curiosity thats all, as I've been clearing out my work folders this weekend of all the crap I've accumulated over the last year or so, and found a few ideas that I'd forgotten about, I'll post a couple later when I get can onto my server:), curious to see what you guys abandonded and for what reason, who knows maybe we will discover a lost masterpiece out there somewhere :)

So many potential skinning ideas I had thought of, but not succeeded. Either I never started, or I did start, but ended up saying 'screw it, I'll do something else'.

I think I've only done...hmmm...hmmm....3 skins, where I made almost all of it (excluding the tedious little bits), and then SCRAPPED it. Yep. It's happened when I get to the point to where I'm thinking "there's no way this is going to turn out good. So fuck it"...and then there it goes. Gone, forever. It's really a waste of time, you know? That's why most of the time, I make sure that the skin is going to turn out somewhat good before I put too much work into it.

But unfortunately, I can't post any of these flukes, because when I scrap em, I really scrap em.

First, there's the Terminus Project. I don't think I'll be working on that any more.

Then, there's the first version of Linkin' Park Amp. I started the main window, but ended up dumping it and starting over. I don't think my first two "test" skins qualify for this. They just sucked. That's about it, I guess. Oh, yeah, and this section of my old page. Meant to add a heck of a lot more games and finish Mario 64.

Here's my contribution to the lost work archive,an EQ I did for a skin that never happend, inspired in part by an idea from Xerxes's "dada amp", suggested by Xerxes I might add.

Well, I've got some control buttons that never made it on a skin (note the captivating grey background). If I ever do use them, I suppose I'd redo the pressed state...

Cappy, Those c-buttons are awesome. They look like diamonds or something. I think they would go great on a black background.
